Once, when I picked up a book from the local library, the librarian asked to tell her what I thought about the book when I would bring it back. Well, why not write a few lines about all the books I read so everybody could see what I thought about it? I'm often also happy to have friends recommend a certain book or tell me this and that is not really worth reading. I won't comment about the tons of books I have read so far, but about books I read from now on.

Mace Perry, a former cop, gets out of prison, She set up while undercover, sentenced but innocent. And all she wants is to get back into the force. Whatever the cost. The only way she sees to achieve this is to solve a big crime all by herself before the police does. And hardly out from behind bars, she also stumbles upon a mysterious murder case.
Typical Baldacci, the chapters are short, the storyline quite straight, the plot and writing captivating. But Mace is a little bit too much of an overachiever and Roy is way out of his league. Nevertheless, the book is a good read if you're up for some action.
