Once, when I picked up a book from the local library, the librarian asked to tell her what I thought about the book when I would bring it back. Well, why not write a few lines about all the books I read so everybody could see what I thought about it? I'm often also happy to have friends recommend a certain book or tell me this and that is not really worth reading. I won't comment about the tons of books I have read so far, but about books I read from now on.

Cat is half vampire and half human. She is pretty, powerful and dangerous, but has been lonely ever since she left Bones four years ago. Cat hates vampires and at the same time still loves Bones, wo himself is a Master vampire. In her undercover job, she and her team fight those creatures who go for humans. Yes, Cat is 'Red Reaper', the one no vampire knows and every vampire fears. One day, however, she lets one of the fanged creatures escape and he comes back at her, trying to add her to his collection. A tougher battle begins than what Cat is used to and she is lucky Bones, her ex, finds her before Ian does. But Ian still gets his second encounter with Cat...
Even though there is a fair amount of slaughtering in this book, it is not frightening. There are also some sexually explicit scenes which I would have guessed were written by a woman even if I hadn't known the author of the book. All in all: good entertainment.
