Once, when I picked up a book from the local library, the librarian asked to tell her what I thought about the book when I would bring it back. Well, why not write a few lines about all the books I read so everybody could see what I thought about it? I'm often also happy to have friends recommend a certain book or tell me this and that is not really worth reading. I won't comment about the tons of books I have read so far, but about books I read from now on.

The Berlin Conspiracy is a story around the assassination of President Kennedy in Berlin. Jack Teller, a former CIA agent, gets a call from his friend and former boss, Sam. He agrees to fly to Berlin in order to meet an informant, which only wants to talk Jack and nobody else. As already during his active career with the CIA, Jack is not the typical team player and soon decides to do things his own way and by himself, not exactly making things easy for him and gradually bringing himself into the role as the enemy in the eyes of the CIA.
The book is well written, easy to read, follow and understand. The plot is logically setup and straight forward, which makes it, except for a few minor twists, rather predictable.
