Once, when I picked up a book from the local library, the librarian asked to tell her what I thought about the book when I would bring it back. Well, why not write a few lines about all the books I read so everybody could see what I thought about it? I'm often also happy to have friends recommend a certain book or tell me this and that is not really worth reading. I won't comment about the tons of books I have read so far, but about books I read from now on.

Hauptkommissar Jan Schröder ist nicht unbedingt der ganz typische Kommissar. Alleinerziehend, stets in Motorradstiefeln, mit geheimer Vergangenheit,... Aber er hat eine gute Spürnase, ein gutes Bauchgefühl und kann ganz schön hartnäckig sein. Das braucht er alles bei der Aufklärung von Pfarrer Köstners Mord. Keine verwertbaren Spuren, kein Motiv, keine wirklichen Verdächtigen und viele Steine im weg.
Die Geschichte ist interessant geschrieben und gut zu lesen. Keine langweiligen Stellen. Einige Sachen kann man erahnen, aber es gibt immer wieder Wendungen und nicht alles ist immer so miteinander verknüpft wie man (oder auch Kommissar Schröder) denkt.
